....L's arrival has added a dimension to life here that was unexpected. I have been wanting to see him again. Where he's staying, and if I can go there, I don't know yet.

The fact he arrived so soon after Matt and I can't be a coincidence; he's been dead for years, and now he comes here?

Then there's this idea: Are we destined to come to this place after we die? Has everyone aboard the ship, knowingly or not, died at some point and that brought them here?

There's too many possibilities. And the world we left behind, have there been other Kira's and other Death Notes? Since Amane isn't here, at least one Kira still remains. And the others that pretended to be.
Takada--I didn't see her die, so I can't say for sure she did, or if she still has a Death Note, or access to one. I assume she got what she had from Yagami.

Without Near  L or me there, the Kira's that develop will have a much easier time. Has Whammy prepared for this as well?
